Woollen Factory.
COMPANY BEING FORMED AT NAPIER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ■ Napier, last night. A meeting of persons interested in the fonnatiqn of a woollen factory 'was held in the’Chamber of Commerce to-day, and was attended by a large and representative gathering of commercial men, sheep owner?, and others/ The president of the Napier Chamber of Commerce (Mr D. A. Baxter) presided, and placed before the meeting the benefits tq be derived from such an industry. The project was taken up most enthusiastically, and a canvass of those present resulted in 2500 shares being applied for, It was resolved to proceed with the formation of the company at once,- a provisional directorate. being formed, and from tho promises of support already received, the company is in a fair way to flotation. , , -
