Gisborne Tent, 1.0. R.
Tun usual fortnightly meeting of the Gisborne Tent, No. 54, 1.0. R., S.U., was held in the Tent room last evening, Bro. M. G, Nasmith, jun., C.R., in the chair. Feeling reference was made to the death of Bro. E. E. Shugar, of Seandia’s Hope Tent, Norsowood, aud the Secretary reported that a letter of sympathy had been ■sent to the Norsowood Tent. A reply was received from the late brother’s Tent, thanking the local brethren for their kind attention to the departed brother. A letter was received from Bro. G. W. Goldsmith, late of Gisborne and now of Levin, stating that a new Tent had been erected at Levin through his instrumentality. It had been named the New Century Tent, No. 60. The matter of the formation of a Ladies’ Teut was further discussed, and it was decided that the names of all ladies willing to become members should bo banded in by next moeting night. A large amount of other business was also transacted. Two new mombers were initiated and two more proposed.
