THE ROYAL VISIT.
AT ALBURY.' By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, May 19. Tho train reached Albury at 5.30 last night. The station was handsomely decorated, Volunteers formed a guard of honor and fired a salute as the train steamed in. The Mayor welcomod the Duko and. Duchess. Tho Mayor’s daughter presented the. Duchess with a bouquet. The Royal party, accompanied by Lord Hopetoun, proceeded to a dais beside the station, where a largo crowd assembled. The school childron sang tho National Anthem, and tho Duko and Duchess bowed acknowledgement. Thero was continuous and enthusiastic cheering. By request there was no presentation address or speeches. Tho ceremony occupied only a few minutes. The party then boarded tho special train and proceeded west. The Government, un ler tho direction of the Chief Railway Commissioner, stationed along the journey northwards a number detectives, aboard the train. •Perth, May 19.
Arrived; Ormuz. A posse of detectives boarded Her, and over twenty Italian passengers were lined up and questioned. Though the police refuse to give information, it is understood that intimation was received from tho Imperial authorities that a well-known Anarchist was 'aboard tho steamer. After the steamer had been thoroughly searched, the Italians wero allowed to land. A detective accompanied the Ormuz to Adelaide.
