AN IMPORTANT PROPOSAL,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The Minister of Lands proposes to amend the Land Act next session by taking the control of the education reserves out of the hands of the various school sommissioners and vesting them in the Land Boards, so as to secure a uniform system of administration.
