By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright London, May 12. At the Ivempton Park May meeting the Great Jubilee Handicap resulted:—San Toy 1, Carmen 2, Alvercote 3. RACING IN AUCKLAND. [By Telegraph—Tress Association.] Auckland, last night. An objection lodged by Messrs L. D. Nathan and and Co., against the Century Stakes being paid over to the owner of Battleaxe has been withdrawn. The declaration of the weights for the Great Northern Steeplechase and Grand National Hurdle race has tended to liven up matters in the local betting market. Business is confined entirely to the double event. Cannongate and Cavalioro arc quoted favorites at 100 to 5.
