UNIQUE DISCOVERY,

Sir Harry Johnston, Special Commissioner in Uganda, has sent to the British Museum the skin and and skull of a mammal discovered in the forests of Uganda and Congo, supposed to be the historic helladotherium, which resembles the giraffe, wild ass, and tapir combined. Its forehead is scarlet, and the rest of its skill remarkably colored.
