POUT AWANUI AND HICK’S BAY. • An alteration of tho mail service from Port Awanui to Hick’s Bay hns been made, extending the service from fo.mightly to weekly between To Araroa and Hick’s Bay, and giving a weekly mail right through. There is now a bi weekly service from Gisborne to Tolago Bay, and a weekly service from Tolago Bay right through to Hick's Bay.
A Post Otlice is to be opened at Kunakanae, even miles f rom Te Karaka. G. W. SAMPSON, Chief Postmaster.
