The monthly meeting of the Trustees was held last night, there being present: Messrs Nolan (Chairman), Harding, Kennedy, Tuohy, Warren, Dewing, Macfarlane, and Johnston. Mr E. P. Joyce wrote : “ Sir,—As Trustee representing the Borough Council, and seeing the newly-elected Council may feel disposed to have a change, I beg to tender my resignation its a member of your Board.” " ' The Chairman said that, the resignation having been sent in, they could hardly do otherwise than accept it, but he was sorry that Mr Joyce had resigned ; he had been a verv useful member of the Board, who took great interest in the institution, and did not shirk any of the duties. The resignation was accepted, and the Secretary instructed to write informiugt’pe Borough Council of the resignation.
