COOK COUNTY. ELECTOR S’ ROLLS. NOTICE is hereby given that the Electors’ Rolls for the County of Cook for the Year 1901-2, and the Defaulters’ List to the 31st March, 1901, are on view at the Office of the Council, Gisborne. The Rolls for the several Ridings are on view at the following places: Gisborne Riding: Mr Colebrook's Store, Waerenga-a-hika. Arai Riding : Mr Gilknan’s Store, Patutabi. Waimata Riding: Mr Greaves’ Store, Waimata. Tolago Riding : Mr Agnew’s Store, Tolago Bay. Waikohu Riding : Mr Lewis’s Store, Karaka. Whataupoko Riding: Mr Brown’s Store, Whataupoko.'
Any person who feels aggrieved at the entry upon, or omission from, these Rolls, may, on or before the 31st MAY next, apply for relief to the Magistrate’s Court, Gisborne. Any defaulter who pays his rates before the Rolls are signed will be entitled to have his name placed on the Roll. J. WARREN, Clerk. Any person who considers himself aggrieved by his own name or that of any other person .being entered on or omitted from the 801 l of the Riding,- or by the number of Votes allotted him, or to any other person thereon, being more or fewer than that to which he or some other person is entitled under “ The Counties Act, 1886,” or that any person is entered on the Roll who has not paid all the Rates which he was liable to pay on or before the 81st day 'of December last, may, on or before the last day of MAY next, apply for relief to the Stipendiary Magistrate’s Court which is nearest to the place where the Roll of the Riding is kept.
