By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, May 7. * The Sultan of Jubalund pays a fine in connection with the murder of Jenner, the British Sub-Commissioner, by the Ogadain Somalis in November last. The Indian troops sent to punish the Ogadain rebels remain in Jubalund until tlie fine is paid. The Daii y Mail says :—“ The Rev. Alfred Walker, a Southern clergyman, has offered to pay £2 a year to any publican who will hang behind his bar a temperance placard containing a yerse of the hymn, ‘ What Shall the Harvest Be'?’ One publican agreed on condition that Mr Walker would put up in ejuirch a notice of his bottled ales.”
