THE PRESBYTERY

SANITARY WORK ON SUNDAY. (By Telegraph—-Press Association.) Christchurch, May 7. The Presbytery carried resolutions protesting against Dr Mason being employed on sanitary work on Sunday. They also resolved to request the City Council to discontinue running trams on Sundays. The Presbytery also placed on record their gratitude to God for the safe return from war of Colonel Robin and the troopers accompanying him, and appreciation of their self-sacrificing services in the interest of our colony.
