Money is being subscribed freely. While Wirth’s Circus was at Wellington, N.S.W., Mr Carl Wirth was putting the tigers through their performances, and was severely bitten on the leg. One of the circus employees succeeded in rescuing Mr Wirth, but he also was bitten.
