INTERESTING LIVES. (Special to Times.) Auckland, last night. The life history of a number of New Zealand Natives are being prepared by an Auckland gentleman for publication. The lion. James Carroll, Wi Lore, and Henri Tomaua are among the number. Messrs Carroll's and Tomoana’s are being written by a well-known ex-Poverty Bay identity, who once contested the East Coast seat. The book, when completed, will be of much interest. Messrs Carroll’s and Wi Pere’s lives are very interesting, and I will forward the same to the Gisborne Times for publication in the course of the next few days. IVAN.
