BOAT CAPSIZES IN THE BREAKERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Westport, last night. A sensational iucidont occurred to-day, when a newly-built surf-boat capsized in the breakers. The occupants—Mumm, August, and Dickson —were cast into the water, and were in great danger of drowning, when a young man named Hardio rode into the breakers, and, after a groat struggle with the waves, being washed oIT his horse several times, succeeded in reaching August and Munnn. By the one holding on to Hardie’s leg, and the other holding on to the horso's tail, they were dragged ashore. Dickson was also rcsoued. All the men wore in a very exhausted state.
