In the frozen meat market cross-bred wethers and maiden ewes, Canterbury, sold at 4d, Dunedin and Southland at 4 5-Bd, North Island 3 3-Bd. Lamb is nnchanged. New Zealand beef, 1801bs to 7201 b, fair average quality : Ox fores SJd, hinds 3:]d. River Plate, crossbreds or merinos, wethers, are unchanged in price. Hides are neglected and unchanged in price. Leather is held for prices above then - market value. Silver is at 2s 3 9-16 d. Basils are unchanged in price. Eleven thousand seven hundred quarters of Victorian March shipments of wheat sold at 28s 9d, and 7,500 of the May shipment at a similar price. The Samaritan's cargo sold at 29s 71 d, and the Craigmore’s Adelaide cargo of 15,514 quarters sold at 30s ljd. Dalgety and Co. have declared a dividend of 8 per cent.
