LIBERAL ASSOCIATION.

The annual meeting of the Cook County Liberal Association was held last night, the President (Mr E. P. Joyce) being in the chair.

The balance-sheet was read and adopted, The following officers were elected :

President, Mr E. P. Joyce; vice-Presi-dents, Mrs Maynard, Messrs Harris and Birrell; Executive, Mosdnmes Fox, Scott, Fraser, and Mackie, and Messrs Patterson, Dower, Sigley, Dickson, Ryan, Griffon, Hansen, Henderson, Gallagher, Diddle, Wade, G. Maher, P. Maher, Ross, Brown, Mooney, Mattherson, Scott, Cogar, and Elmsly ; Secretary, Mr R. N. Jones. On the motion of Mr Elmsly, seconded by Mr Dow'er, a vote of thanks was accorded to the outgoing officers. ' It was resolved to send a letter of condolence to Mr Willeston (Mr Carroll’s private secretary) on the death of his wife.
