Operations have been commenced to decorate the city for the Yorks' visit. Melbourne, April IS. A great demand for accommodation has set in. Thirty shillings to forty shillings per day is asked in some cases for first-class accommodation. The Norwegian residents decorate a portion of the route. Ten thousand invitations have been issued for the various functions. 1 London, April 18. The Dutch East Indies warships go to Singapore to greet the Yorks, also to Melbourne.
