MAN ATTACKS HIS MOTHER, WIFE, AND CHILDREN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, April 13. A fearful tragedy is reported from Mudgee. A man, named Alfred Kent, made an attack with a bar of iron, and sevoroly injured his mother, wife, and two children. One of tho latter, three months old, has succumbed to tho injuries, and tho man’s mother is in a serious condition.

Kent has shown signs of insanity for some time.
