News from the Bay of Islands. state that Mr Hone Heke, M.H.R., and the Ngapuhi natives have been holding a meeting to consider what share they shall | take in the Duke of York’s reception. It is probable that a considerable number of Ngapuhis willNcomc to Auckland and Rotorua to join in the welcome. THE NGATIPOROUS. The Ngatiporou natives of Gisborne and East Coast ports left in the s.s. Omapere for their homes this evening. They are all anxious to return to their homes once again. The Hon. Jas.
