FIRE AT THE THAMES.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Thames, last night. At 1.30 this morning a fire broke out in the shop of Mr Thomas, dentist, resulting in the total destruction of three buildings r?nd their contents :—Thomas Raa, chemist; Allen, draper; and Scott’s large grocery establishment is gutted. The estimated damage is £7OOO. Had it not been for the calmness of the night, the entire block of buildings would have been destroyed.
