CASES FOR TRIAL. [by telegraph—raEss association.] Christchurch, last night. At Rangiora to-day Michael Henry O'Malley, Joseph Enwright, and James Northy were committed for trial on two charges of breaking and entering. ROYAL VISIT. The Royal Visit Executive has accepted the designsof Mr Hurst Seagorfor decorating the town, to consist of avenues of color with bays for tableaux of industries, friendly and other societies. There will be no procession cxcopt the Royalties’ carriages. The decorations are estimated to cost .£SOO, but £IOOO will bo spent on beautifying alone. -.
