STOCK SALES.

Messrs Williams and Kettle and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company hold their usual stock sale at Matawhero yards on Thursday, commencing at 11.30 a.m., when a large yarding of sheep and cattie is promised. Messrs Williams and Kettle’s entry consists of between 3000 and 4000 sheep, including a splendid line of 1000 fresh full-mouth ewes, 500 lambs, <jnd some first-class wethers. Over a hunqred cattle, including some really fine beasts, will’be submitted. Mr A. P. Kennedy will act- as auctioneer for Messrs Williams and Kettle, and Mr J. -W. Bright for the New Zealand Loan Company. An important sale of stock is announced for April 9th, at the Waercnga-a-hika yards, by Messrs Common, Shelton, and Go, Present entries consist of over 4000 sheep of good quality, inchjding 800 four and six tooth wethers, 856 four-tooth Lincoln wethers, 1500 full-mouthed ewes, 660 lambs, and 100 four and six tooth ewes, These sheep are of excellent quality, and should command a good price. Upwards of 100 head cattle of mixed'classes will Be offered at the sale. Mr J. B. Kells, thb firm's auctioneer, will conduct the sale. Messrs Wyllie and Mason hold their monthly sale at Waerenga-a-hika on the same day, and the'firm expects a large entry of sheep and cattle, particulars of which will be given in a later issue.
