INCREASE OF BUSINESS. Per Press Association—Copyright. Dunedin, last night. The manner in which the business at the Magistrate's Court has expanded is shown by the fact that during the past quarter Mho cases were heard, as against hos for the corresponding quarter of last year. The aggregate amount sued for was X'13,017, against X’7940. Warrants of commitment were issued in 15 cases, and writs of arrest in one case. On the criminal side 513 males and 78 females were taken into custody.
