Lamb, prime Canterbury, sjd ; fair average, including Dunedin, Southland, and Wellington, secondary ; Canterbury 5 3-Bd. New Zealand beef, 180 to 2201b5, fair average quality, ox fores 3 I-Bd, hinds 3 5-Bd. River Plate, crossbred or merino wethers, heavy and light, 3 7-10 d. Hides are neglected, the sales being insignificant. A cargo of wheat from Port Piric sold at 28s 71d.
