THE GRACE HARWAR

A RECORD CARGO. Tun Grace Ilarwar is ready for sea, ami being a tine ship in good trim she should make a fast passage Home. The vessel takes a record cargo from this port, consisting of 7785 bales of wool, 757 pockets, blO casks tallow, 100 cases kauri gum, and 120 sacks kauri gum. The value of the cargo, roughly estimated, is from 4180,000 to TOO,000“. The kauri gum is Auckland cargo transhipped from the Omapere, and a quantity of the wool was brought from Napier by Messrs Richardson and Co.'s steamers, as owing to the late arrival of the Grace Harwar at this port the cargo originally intended for her was sent by other - vessels. The Waiapu arrived from the Mahia on Saturday with b'2l> bales of wool, but these were shut out from the ship, and will probably bo sent Homo by the Star of Australia, due on 'Wednesday. Growers hating consignments on the Grace Harwar will stand a good chance of getting slightly better prices for the wool than for that which was sent earlier in the season, there being a prospect of a better market. The Grace Harwar was loaded by Messrs Janies Maidens and 'William Bennett, stevedores, of Napier, and they have performed their work faithfully and well, and well within the specified time. Captain Briscoe, and Messrs Legal 1 and Golding, his first and second officers, have since their arrival in port made many friends, whose good wishes they have for a pleasant voyage to London.
