Owing to representations to China by Japan and other Powers against the carrying on of two sots of negotiations, China has suspended negotiations with regard to amendments to the Manchurian Convention until negotiations with the Allies lias been completed. The Standard correspondent states that reports are current in Nankin that Li Hung Chang will bo the Chinese Foreign Minister after Tsung Li Yumen has been abolished ,Liukungi succeeding Li lluug in the Vice-Royalty province, Chili.
