The Now Zealand Federal Commission have finished their inquiries at Sydney for the present, and embark to-day for Tasmania, afterwards proceeding to Victoria and South Australia. The Chairman of the Commission wrote to Mr See, the Acting-Premier, expressing sincere thanks on behalf of the Commissioners for his placing a convenient office at their disposal, andMor other courtesies I .’ ‘The Cdfnhiission expect to bo' in' Sydney again for a day or two in about three weeks’ time.
Received March-27, 9.39 p.m. The Federal Commission has sailed for Hobart. It took tho evidence of tho r Principal of the Agricultural College in * reference to agriculture in New South Wales, and the probabilities of the market in the future for New Zealand products in New South Wales. .
