HOSPITAL BALL.
A largely attended meeting of the Hospital Ball Committee was held last night at the Borough Council Chambers. Mr Nolan occupied the chair. Mr Harding reported that Messrs Williams and Kettle had kindly placed their new woolshed at the disposal of the Committee for the purposes of the ball. The following sub - committees were appointed:—
Reception: Messrs Townley, Nolan Maefarlane, Harding, Joyce, and Stephenson.
Decoration : Messrs Tuohy, Bosie, Maher, Lewis, W. Howard, Ambridge, Jas. Allen, Milne, F. Harris, Sawyer, Georgeson, Jameson, Little, and Webb. Dressing Boom : Messrs Hennessy, Kennedy 7, Bosie, Bees, Webb, and Miller. Lighting: Messrs Townley and Nolan. Supper room : Messrs Sheet, Colebourne, Georgeson, Little, aud Webb. Boiler: Mr Maher. Floor: Mr Webb, Music; Messrs C. Adair and Morrison. Advertising: Messrs B. N. Jones, Miller, Kennedy, and Bees. Befreshments : Messrs Harding, Shelton, Barry; Kennedy, Lucas, and Mat l thewson. Space: Messrs Kennedy, Harding, and Hennessy. The" following gentlemen were appointed M.C.’s : Messrs Webb, Hennessy, Sawyer, Gaudin, Johnston, Stephenson, Ambridge, and Harding, It was decided to distribute the Ball tickets forthwith, and, on the motion of Mr Harris, seconded by Mr Webb, it was resolved that all' vendors of tickets be a Collection Committee to collect subscriptions in'aid of the Ball, and that a sub-scription-list be sent with each lot of tickets distributed.
