At the annual meeting of the Poverty Bay Sheep Dog Trial Club, Mr F. Bousfield presided. Amongst those present were : —Messrs Duncan Cameron, Cook, Steggall, Beere, Herbert Macintosh, If, McKenzie, W. Allen, A. McKenzie, Leslie Oates, Bussell, Spiers, and 0. Evans. Mr Oates, the Secretary for the past year, presented the balance-sheet, which showed that the Club’s receipts foi' the past yen’ had amounted to £47 19s 3d, and that its expenditure had totalled £45, leaving a balance of £2 19s 3d to credit. Against this there was an account for £1 2s 6d to settle. Mr Oates tendered his resignation as secretary, He had, he said, had a good long term in the position, and he thought that they should elect a secretary who was nearer at] hand. Mr Bousfield proposed a hearty vote of thanks to Mr Oates for his eminently valuable services to the Club. It was, he said, due to his hard work and unremitting zeal that they had attained to the measure of success that had fallen to them. (Applause.) Mr Bussell was appointed to the vacancy. The election of officers was next proceeded with, Mr A. Hutchison being re-elected President. The following were elected Vice-presidents: Messrs Murphy, A. McKenzie, H. N. Watson, B. P. Sherratt, A. L. Bellerby, F. J. Shelton, A. F. Kennedy, and A. Dewing, the following additions being made to the list: Messrs F. S. Desßarres, C. White, J. A. Harding, Straehan, T. Steele, G. C. McLean, Carmichael, Harley D. Evans, J. 13. Kells, and Spiers. The following stewards were elected: Messrs D. Cameron, 0. Evans, Arnold Beere, T. Gebbie, Chas. Wright, and Spiers. General Committee : Messrs Leslie Oates, Allen, Holmes, Steggall, G. Hawkins, L. Theron, Straehan, Dayson,~ Gardner, and C. Wright. It w r as unanimously agreed to hold the trial on May 23rd and 24th,
