Tibcy, of tho Victorian Bushmen, has boon mado a Companion of tho Distinguished Service Order for prompt action in the brave defonco preventing the occupation of Phillipstown early in tho present month. Corporal Elliott, of tho Victorian JBushmcn, was awarded a modal for distinguished conduct in tho field, and for gallantry at Senoow River, whereby sixteen Victorian Bushmen captured thirtythree Boors.

Scoboll’s column on tho 20th soverely handled Schooper’s commando at Blaauwkrantz, killing six Boors and capturing many horses.. The commando escaped in tho direction of Abordeen. Severe fighting occurred on Friday at Hartbcostefonteiu.
