Sie, —Upwards of 100 people using the Haiti Road leading from the Turanganui bridge to the Haiti beach requisitioned the Borough Council to put this road in a passable state. The same 100 people haye had the necessity of wading through mud on the same street during the past few days. When the general election of Councillors comes on nest month those same 100 people will have a chance of remembering that any action towards repairing the road was shelved by the votes of Councillors Joyce, Jones, Lewis, and Townley.—l am, etc., W.
