TALLOW SALE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received March 21, 1.5 p.m. London, March 20. At the tallow sales 1120 casks were offered and 875 sold. Mutton, fine, is at 28s 3d ; medium, 265. Beef, fine, is at 26s Od, and medium at 25s 3d. The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 77,527,000 bushels. Merinos are firm at five per cent, above opening rates. Crossbreds arc unchanged ill price, Consols are at 95|, PRICE OF WOOL. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co. last night received the following cable from London —“ Since the opening of the sales there has been an average advance of 5 per cent, above last sales’ closing rates for medium wools. There is little demand for medium crossbreds.”
