Messrs Nelson Bros, havo received the following cable from the Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company. “ London, to-day : “ A fall in tho price of Canterbury mutton. To-day’s quotations: Best Canterbury, 4 3-8 d; Napier and North Island 4d ; lambs, first quality, 6d ; second s£d.
