SLY GROG-SELLING.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. The hearing of the charges of sly grogselling at Tapanui was resumed to-day. James O’Dowd, who was charged with selling liquor on New Year’s Day, was convicted and fined .£4O and costs, to be recovered by distress, in default one month’s imprisonment without hard labour. ■ .
