CLOSE SETTLEMENT.
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) Napier, last night. It is understood that the Hatuma Estate will be placed on the market by the Government tor close settlement purposes in about six weeks’ time. The run lias been cut up into 58 sections, ranging from 111 acres to about 1500 acres. SCARCITY OF HORSES. , Great difficulty has been experienced in getting a 'sufficient number of remounts in Hawke’s Bay. The original order of 20 was reduced to 12, These, a splendid, lot, were sent to Wellington to-day.
