Mr Balfour has, iu rosponso to urgent requests, consented to the appointment of a Gominittco of Enquiry to go into tho matter of tho Coronation oath.
[The chief objection to tho oath is that in its present form it is an unpardonable affront to Roman Catholics, the Sovereign boing called upon to dcclaro that mass is idolatrous.]
