HEAVY CLEARANCES.

In anticipation of fresh taxation being disclosed in tho Budget, the duty paid during February upon tobacco was ono and a half millions in excess of tho previous Eebruai-y, and on tea £660,000 in excess.
[And England is said to be a free trade country.]
