WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

In session', arrangements were considered for deputations to visit different districts and advocate the cause of foreign missions. The amount contributed to tins fund was £I2OO. The Kev. Mr Lewis then referred to the action of Bishop Neville in licensing Mr Shirley Baker to represent the Anglican Church as missionary in Tonga. Then he moved the approving resolution, which was carried unanimously. The Kev. Mr Simmonds presented the report of the Three Kings Wesley College, Auckland, with a proposal for the erection of new college buildings on a complete scale. In support of the claim for aid to this scheme, it was shown that the conclititions under which the institution was begun had been faithfully carried out ;by giving Maori boys a Christian education, industrial training, and instruction in the English language. The report and the balance-sheet were received and adopted, and the proposal to erect a new building was approved.
