CANADA FAVORS THE PACIFIC,

Ottawa, March 6. The Canadian House of Commons unanimously voted five-eighteenths of tho cost of the Pacific Cable. Mr Mullock, referring to the New South Wales concession to the Eastern Extension Company, said it was too late for Canada to recede, inasmnch as the contract had been signed providing for the construction of tho Pacific line. He denied that there was any pooling arrangement with tho Eastern Extension Company-.
