As in the previous races, the finishes were very close and exciting, So far, none of the races have been won by more than a quarter of a length, the majority of thorn having only been won on the post by a few feet, and the donors of the trophies for which the crews arc competing, Messrs A. F. Kennedy and AV. Good, have overy reason to feel satisfied at tho interest shown, tho racing being without doubt the best ever seen on the river. POVERTY BAY ROAVING CLUB.
