SCHOOL FOR MAORI GIRLS.
A MAORI LADY SUBSCRIBES £IOO. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. There appear to be reasonable hopes of the Queen Victoria School for Maori Girls being begun at no very distant date. Already nearly £3OO has been raised, one Maori lady haring given £IOO, and ladies all over the colony endeavoring to raise funds. There was £IOO given anonymously in Auckland a few weeks back, and there is about £l5O in the Savings Bank, ; .
