The Indian Troops.

RECEPTION AT DUNEDIN

(By Telegraph—rrcss Association). Dunedin, last night.

The crowd which turned out to witness the march of the Indian troops did not full much short of that for the European section of the representative corps. The Indians were heartily cheered along the whole route. Volunteoors to the number of about 400 headed the procession, the Garrison Hand playing before the Indian troops, the cavalry section of which was mounted. The Mayor welcomed the men, and the lion. C. 11. Mills made a short speech. Many of the Indian troops visited the theatre in the evening. After the warmth of Saturday the weather is again cold to-day, and the Indians kept mostly to their quarters.
