Tlis fourth wool sale of the season was held to-day, when 2513 bales were submitted.
The total offers for the series show a falling-off of close on 2000 bales. The attendance of buyers to-day was well up to the average. The decline noted in the North was not refieeted. Owing to the brisk competition the prices, though irregular, were slightly firmer all round than at the last sale.
Tho range of prices were Greasy halfbred, 4;] dto 7tfd; crossbred, 4,}d to 6' r d ; merino, 5A cl to 7;]d; pieces 2;‘d to sjd I bellies 2ld to 44(1; locks lid to 3d ; slipes, lamb 6d to 6Ad; scoured cross-brecjf 6Ad to 7ld.
