The Union Company’s s.s. Te Anau (Captain Bernech) arrived from South yesterday morning, and left for North at about 18.30. Outward : Mrs Holloway and 8 children, Alias Groonor, Messrs Pittars, Campbell, and Kirihama, Blaster Maynarn. The three-masted schooner Toroa (Captain Cousins) arrived from Groymouth early yesterday morning. She left Greymouth on February .15th, and brought 10 railway trucks, aggregating 44 tons, a railway locomotive, 40 tons of coal for Messrs Clayton Bros, and 21-J- tons for tho Government, and 2100 sleepers. The Toroa had an uneventful passage up tho coast, and when tho wind dropped was worked by her 50-h.p. auxiliary engine. Hho will probably leavo this port on Friday. Her destination is at present unfixed, but it will probably be Auckland. Tho scow Ururoa sailed yesterday morning for Tairua,
