For Napier, Wellington, and South, per Te Anau, Saturday, at 7.30 p.m. For Australia (duo in Sydney, 2nd March), Tasmania, Ceylon, India, Straits Settlements, China, and Japan, per Waikare, Saturday, at 9 a.m. For United States of America, Canada, West Indies, Contral America, West Coast of South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via San Francisco ■(due in London March 30th); also Samoa and Hawaiian Islands. Connecting with s.s. Sonoma at Auckland, per Monra, Wednesday, at 7 a.m.
For Poututu, Whakarau, Motu, Eakauroa, and Opotiki, Fridays, at 11 a.m. For Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika, Ormond, daily, at 2 p.m., excepting on Thursdays, when mail closes at 1 p.m. For Mattwvhero, To Arai Bridgo, and Murewai, daily, at 2 p.m., Thursdays, at 1 p.m. For Patutahi, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 2 p.m., Thursdays at 1 p.m. For Kaiteratahi, Te Karaka, Whatntutu, and Wheturau, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, at 11 a.m. On Monday and Tuesday an extra mail will be despatched to these offices. For Tnrewa, Morero, Nuhaka, Opoutama (Mahia), Wairoa, and Wharerata, Tuesdays, at 7 a.m.
POST OFFICE HOLIDAY.
Thursday next, the 21st inst., on the occasion of the visit of the Indian troops being a public holiday, the Post Office will be closed from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Exohange will be open as usual. Mails for country offices ' usually despatched on this day will close at 9 a.m. Makaraka raceoourse office will be open as follows : —Thursday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ql W.
