On Friday last, in the Handicap Singles, Price (with 12) scored 27 against Coleman (scratch) 22. And in the “ Colts ” Match Quigley at scratch made 25 against Colebrook (with 12 points) 23. On Saturday afternoon, in the Handicap Singles, Willock scored 28 to Quigley’s 15, while in the “ Colts ” Match F. Pettie (with 4 points) scored 24 to Albert Adair’s (with 6 points) 14. Scratch games : Birss, Dixon, Bright and Beatty (skip) 13, against Simson, Ferris, McGowan and Ponsford (skip) 24; Massey, Lewis, Sidebottom and J. Witty (skip) 16, against Jackson, Lockie, Price and Batham (skip) 20. The attendance of ladies and visitors was good, and some of tho play was excellent.
