The heavy rain that fell yesterday afternoon interfered with the bowling matches and only two or three of the fixtures were brought off. In the colts competition C. Adah 1 and Colebrook had an interesting contest, the former conceding his opponent 12 points. On the last head the scores were 24 to 22, but Colebrook succeeded in getting' one in and gained a victory by three points. Hennessy and Sidebottom played their singles, and a good game resulted in a victory for the latter by 23 to 13. The full rink match between Dixon’s and Ponsford’s team was commenced, and as far as it was played was all in favor of the former, the local champion being unable to pull up on his handicap. This match will bo finished this evening.
