A MAN HANGS HIMSELF,

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. An old man named Frederick Cornish, 72' years of age, committed suicide by hanging himself at his house yesterday morning. No reason is assigned for the act. He left a paper stating that a servant girl at Anderson’s Bay could explain the matter, but upon enquiries being made it was found that she knew nothing of him except that he used to do some gardening at the house where she was serving.
