Return of Colonel Francis.

Colonel Francis, who loft for South Africa in command of the Fourth Contingent. arrived by train from the South tonight. having been a passenger by the Mokoia from Melbourne. He was received by the Mayor. Colonel Webb, and the Patriotic Committee. Colonel Francis is in fair health, but will have to take care of himself for twelve months to get rid of the effects of enteric. In the course of conversation Colonel Francis said that while in London he accepted the honors offered, not cm his own account, but on behalf of the colony. The feeling in England towards colonials was of the most cordial nature.
