Late Shipping.
The s.s. Omaperc leaves Auckland at five o’clock this afternoon for coastal ports and Gisborne.
Port Chalmers (Otago) shipping agent advised us last night that the barque Glenafton arrived at 6.20 p.m. on the 23rd. The barque comes from Zanzibar. Mr J. McLean, who was chief officer on the s.s. Monowai on her maiden trip, is now chief mate of one of the large steamers on the China service.
